You try to add one more thing onto your "to do" list, and there never seems to be enough time to fit it all in.....

It’s the beginning of the day, and you are already feeling overwhelmed. You are committed to your work, family and studies, but each day you come home feeling deflated and exhausted.

You receive good feedback from your boss and colleagues, but you just don’t believe it, and you continue to doubt yourself.

You look at your life and it seems as if everyone around you is getting ahead but you.

You are starting to get that familiar feeling again that you don’t fit in anywhere.

You begin to think that this amount of worry is normal, when it is not. You start to lose sleep, stop exercising, and withdraw from family and friends. You feel paralyzed by stress and now your mind has constant racing negative thoughts.

Something has to change.

You want to find someone that will listen to you and that you can trust. You want someone that can stand by you as you get through this difficult time.

Our past contains revealing clues to why we experience the dilemmas that we experience today in our lives. Understanding
our history just for the sake of understanding  doesn’t lead to change. However, understanding how many of the challenges that we experience today are replications of our unresolved issues can be very advantageous. It can lead to the rapid change of issues in relationships with self esteem, managing success, having confidence, or simply being able to enjoy life to its fullest.

I enjoy working with clients that are experiencing stressful and chaotic challenges that are impacting their daily lives. I address issues with great compassion, empathy and with light hearted humor. My clients experience change over their time in therapy not just with their anxiety, but with how they relate to the world and in their relationships. They begin to feel better about themselves, and more connected as they work through their pain.

I have worked with people for over 13 years who have depression, stress and anxiety. My clients typically come to see me weekly so that they have consistent support, and can move out of feeling like they are in a state of constant crisis.

I will often integrate meditation, body movement, hypnosis and or mindfulness so that you have the tools to help you find calm in your day to day life.
Therapy does not have to feel scary and difficult. It can feel like a very safe place to finally breathe after you have been drowning for a long time.
